The California Reaper is a descendant of the Carolina Reaper so you know it's insanely hot! This peach Carolina Reaper variety is known to be a possible cross between the original red Carolina Reaper and Jay’s Peach Ghost Scorpion pepper. The California Reaper is a relatively new strain so you expect some variation. Although it has not yet officially been tested, this super hot variety averages about 1,500,000 Scoville Heat Units!
Features:
- California Reaper pepper plants will grow to around 4 feet tall.
- The peppers start off light green and ripen to a stunning peach color, with most pods resembling a Carolina Reaper's characteristics.
