Also known as: Green Wax Flower, False Hoya, Sneeze Wort, Green Milkweed Climber, Hemajivanti

Here is a large twinning shrub with woody stems that can be up to 12 meters tall. It belongs to the family Asclepiadaceae and is native to India.
It produces clusters of fragrant, green flowers that resemble that of a Hoya plant.

Commonly consumed as a seasonal vegetable and its source of fiber. Young shoots and leaves can be consumed raw or cooked and are often eaten in salads and curries. The rind of the unripe fruit is also used in traditional Indian cuisine. Flowers can be cooked and eaten as a vegetable as well.

Used in traditional medicine for healing a range of diseases. Its leaves extract has antioxidant and antibacterial properties. It is extensively prescribed to treat conditions such as eye ailments, general debility, tumors, asthma, stress-related disorders, inflammatory and painful conditions, skin diseases and hemorrhoids.

Requires a moist, well-drained soil in full sun. It can be indoors and container grown. Tolerating to at least USDA zone 9, some reports say lower but we cannot verify that.

This offer is for 10 seeds.
